Chairman of the Board & CEO – Terry Beck
Terry and his wife Jodie, are the founders of The Harding
Group. It was Terry’s vision and plan that created the company The Harding
Group is today. Terry began his technology career as a design
engineer. Before The Harding Group required all his time as the
leader of the company, he enjoyed designing and implementing networks and
systems for our first clients. Terry is an entrepreneur with a BA degree
in Religious Education from Harding University and a BS degree in
Electronic Engineering Technology from Devry University. His
education background has allowed him to lead this service company with
high integrity and technical excellence. Terry stresses that his
successes are truly a blessing from the Lord. His greatest
accomplishments include his marriage of more than thirty-one years to
Jodie, his three children and two grandchildren.
Treasurer & Co-Founder – Jodie Beck
Jodie is one of the original founders of The Harding
Group. She also attended Harding University where she met
Terry. Jodie administers the day-to-day finances of the business
and also works with our vendors to establish strong business
relationships. Jodie is an active member at Richland Hills Church
of Christ and the proud mother of three children and two grandchildren.
President – Ron Verner
Ron is responsible for the overall management of The Harding
Group and its success. He joined the company as a consultant in
2003 and became president in April of 2006. Ron has a B.S. degree
in Business Management from Oklahoma Christian University and in his
career prior to The Harding Group, served as CEO and Founder of Delinea,
a partner in the consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and
worked for almost twenty years at EDS. Ron and his wife, Lou are
blessed with six children and four grandchildren. Ron enjoys
ranching, drums, and spending time with his wife Lou, their six children,
and four grandchildren.
Executive Vice President, Business Development – Yaser
Wassef
Yaser is responsible for Sales & Marketing and Business
Development at The Harding Group. Yaser joined The Harding Group in
1998 and has filled many roles for the company, including Senior Consultant,
Director of Storage, and COO. Yaser received his Bachelor of Arts
degree in Strategic Management and Marketing from The University of North
Texas. He enjoys travel, home theater, antiques, landscape design
and spending time with his wife, Laura, and their three children.
Vice President - Eric Wilson
Eric leads the finance team for The Harding Group.
Eric has been working with Terry Beck and The Harding Group, Inc. since
its inception in 1994. He started out as the company’s first full-time engineer.
Eric has been working with Novell technologies since 1991. Besides
his role on the finance team, he manages The Harding Group’s Document
Management Services division. Prior to working at The Harding
Group, Eric spent fourteen years working in the Low Voltage
Industry. Eric and his wife, Shelley, live in Rowlett and are
blessed with two children.
Director of Storage – Bill Taylor
Bill was instrumental in creating our Storage Area Networks
Solutions beginning in 1998. He has been a valuable part of The Harding
Group since 1996. Bill has served in a wide variety of positions at our
company and has excelled in every role he has filled at The Harding
Group. Prior to coming to HGI, he spent 10 years in public education in
Oklahoma as an instrumental music teacher. Bill holds a Bachelor of
Science in Music Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Bill and his wife, Jaunitta, have four children.
Director of Engineering – Clay Gollier
Clay manages our Engineering team and is responsible for all
Professional Services delivered by Harding Group consultants and
engineers. Having joined in 2006, Clay brings experience in Managed
Services and Network/Systems Design. Coming to us from Belgium by way of
Arkansas, Clay has B.A.’s in Political Science and History and is
therefore uniquely prepared to lead I.T. Design and Implementation
projects. Clay typically thinks outside the box, but only because he was
the one who designed the box in the first place.
Director of Sales Operations – Layne Weeks
Layne is both The Harding Group’s Senior Account Executive
and Director of Sales Operations. Her passion for customer service makes
her also the conscience of The Harding Group. Her drive for perfection on
behalf of our clients motivates our Engineering team to perform at their
best. With The Harding Group since 2003, Layne has excelled both in terms
of Sales performance and leadership, often sacrificing free time to make
sure an ongoing project was being handled with the client’s best interest
in mind. Layne enjoys travel, hosting parties and challenges.
